Symfony

Ibexa DXP is built on Symfony, a PHP framework that provides the dependency injection container, routing, security layer, console commands, HTTP caching, event dispatcher, and the Twig templating engine. Every Ibexa service is a standard Symfony service that can be overridden, decorated, or replaced by application code.

Because Ibexa follows Symfony conventions, any Symfony bundle can be installed alongside Ibexa without conflict. This means the full Symfony ecosystem — Messenger for async jobs, Scheduler for recurring tasks, Mailer, Rate Limiter, and thousands of community bundles — is available out of the box.
